Hi,

Does anyone remember Jurassic Park for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System?

Unlike the Sega Genesis version, the SNES version of JP is all about collecting all the dinosaur eggs, and then shooting down all the dinosaurs that destroy the land appropriately known as JP. The final showdown, though optional, pits Grant vs. the Tyrannosaurus Rex, the biggest and most deadly of all dinosaurs from the Jurassic period.

I have that one. It actually works with the SNES Mouse for Mario Paint. It was okay but it takes WAY too long to play and there's no way to save your progress. Ocean was pretty decent at making Universal games back then, but not perfect.

I have this game, and to this day, I still can't beat it. The T-Rex gets me every time.

Hey, I just realized something after looking at this box. This was one of the few Super Nintendo games with Dolby Surround.

Jurassic Park for the SNES is a tremendous, steaming hunk of dinosaur shit all over Jeff Goldblum's face.

I have Jurassic Park for the NES. I don't think it's possible to beat/have fun in that game.

No, that's another Super Nintendo Jurassic Park game, here's the box.

Jurassic Park Part 2: The Chaos Continues

My brother and I wanted to buy this game after we rented it, but we ended up with the game this topic is talking about.

Hmm, I didn't know there was an NES version, that must be because it was one of the last NES games ever made.

How do you kill T-Rex at the end of the first game?

I don't know, I never got to the end of the game. I'm talking about the T-Rexes that you had to shoot tranquilizer darts at.
