i decided to dig around my closet to find some old issues of video game magazines i bought. this is from a 2001 issue of psm magazine. as you can see, it was meant to play old playstation games on the go...

it certainly looks like one XD. i wish they would've put more time into it so you could actually keep your game inside when you're finished playing. imagine if you're playing that thing while you're walking and someone bumps into you and scratches the cd.... XD

as far as I know, he just modified a regular psone to make it portable. the load times are still the same, everything.
