I once owned this game. It's a good shooter, a little bit hard though. I once beat it using a cheat 8)

The first time I heard of this game, I thought it was based on the Tobe Hooper movie of the same name. Then I played it and found it to be one of the best shooter games of all time. It kind of reminded me of Gradius.

One of the best looking and playing games for the NES imo. And it should remind you of Gradius. Its a sequel.

^ It's a spinoff, not a sequel. Gradius II wasn't released in the US.

Correct it was called Salamander in Japan. Was an offshoot not a sequel.

watched part of the first vid...looks good. Honestly shmups aren't that great until the 32 bit era. Because until that point processors weren't powerful enough to deal with enough bullets on the screen to make the game interesting.

So did you finish Rtype 3 on Snes? Or Thunderforce 3 on Genesis? Or Lifeforce on Nes? So you made that assumption on videos?

I have this game! I love it. It's a ton of fun and a'lot like Gradius which is a great game.
