Am I the only one that thinks this game is cool but really weird at the same time. One part I do like is the fly swatter game on there but what does that have to do with painting . i dont know what to say this game is just strange

No, I don't think you're the only one who thinks that.

The Fly Swatter minigame was probably just that: A mini game. Notice it's icon, the coffee mug? I'm sure they meant for it to be a break from just painting, in order to be the greatest paint game ever. Better than Videomation, better than Color A Dinosaur, better than Art Alive.

I wasted away countless hours messing around with Mario Paint. It sure was fun. I'd probably still play with it from time to time if I still had it.

I still have my Mario Paint but the mouse doesn't work very good. There was a lot of fun stuff to do on it like coloring, making music, the fly swatting game, and even designing sprites the same way they did for games back then.

I uploaded a Japanese commercial for it a while ago, so be on the lookout for it.

I recently played it on my emulator a few months ago.

I dont know how folks did it.

From doing a cartoon to painting a picture, the game was about as complicated as they came.

I still have my game, except in a fit of rage one day I angrily threw my mouse against my wall in my shed and stepped on it with my shoe. Needless to say it's dead now.

That's what happen to me when I played Pokemon Pinball on my Game Boy (minus the shoe part).

Might I recommend, to all Mario Paint fans, the following nostalgic program:

I still have my Mario Paint.
my mouse works fine, but my Super Nintendo isn't working properly, an also, my Mario Paint cartridge needs a new save battery.

I dunno why. But carts I don't use for many many years often lose the savegame. But then I play it again for a while and the battery starts working again. I don't think they're rechargable so I find this to be a bit odd.

I like designing my own stamp patterns to use in the game; I once did one of Pikachu and the Men In Black logo.

I have a few copies of Mario Paint in which I used to make music videos with. The stamp feature was my favourite part.

Yes, it was better than Videomation. I could never get the hang of that game.
I like Mario Paint and the Wacky Worlds Creativity Studio for SEGA Genesis better than some computer art programs.

the cool thing about this game, is that people have found ways to fully utilize its features...i mean people have made music with the music maker and there are actually some Homestar Runner toons that were produced with this.

the music maker is the most retarded part of mario paint. You can't do sharp or flat notes. And you can't have more than one instrument play the same note at one time.

Wow, who woulda thunk you couldn't make professional music in Mario Paint, and they would actually make things, well, simple? Also, you're wrong on that second part, you can have up to three "instruments" for each note.
