I hope you've at least played/heard of Ice Climbers before checking out Ice Climbers on Melee/Brawl.
Brawl, nothing, cuz I don't have it. My favorite character in the original N64 game was Ness, and my best character in Melee is the man, Mr. Game (&) Watch.
If you liked Ness in N64, then you gotta try out Lucas in Brawl when u get a chance. I played as Pikachu for the N64. I totally agree with you that Game & Watch is pretty awesome in Melee and I guess in Brawl too. I kicked some ass with him the other day in Brawl, I probably should give him some extra playing time.
I haven't played much of Brawl, but my favorite characters would have to be King Dedede and Solid Snake.
I'll say Samus since I win more matches with her than I do when I use Mario or Link.

I'm pretty good with Wario, Luigi, Koopa, Pikachu, Donkey Kong, Diddy, Snake, Marth, Sonic, and Pit.
My favourites out of those would have to be Pit, Sonic, and Diddy. (I can't have just one, it's just like potato chips.)

Well Luigi of course, but my other favorates include Pit, R.O.B., Lucario, and Toon Link.

Sonic all the way. His special is awesome once you master it. My roommates always complain about me winning with him. Pit is also pretty sweet.
Anyone else think they should do away with some characters who are very similar? For example Wolf/Fox/Falco, Jigglypuff/Kirby, Marth/Ike, etc. I would rather see Mega Man instead of duplicates whenever Nintendo upgrades the next time.

Wait, why are you treating the Ice Climbers like a joke? They were my main in Melee for a long time when the game just came out, and I must say I was good with them, not to mention fond memories of playing Ice Climber. I use them in Brawl a lot too, and they're really not bad.

Clone characters really bothered me in Melee, they are a tad bit better in Brawl but it still is kind of a cop out to fill up the character selection screen. At least, they should've given Ganondorf use of his sword, used Mike Jones from Startropics instead of Lucas, and yes megaman should be in the game.
Some new characters I would like to see would be Funky Kong, Waluigi, King K. Rule, Cream, Kamek, and Dr. Eggman.
OMG! Playing as Farron with his dog Zap, from Conquest of the Crystal Palace for the NES would be awesome!
