My guess is that it will be a 3D remake for the DS, right along the lines of the Final Fantasy III and IV remakes.
You can't edit text style in the title or in hyperlinks, Xe!
And damn, this is like the one series (along with EarthBound, for the U.S. at least) I was pretty certain would never be touched again after Chrono Cross... but I do suppose some fans have no idea when to shut up about it. Much like EarthBound fans...

It's about damn time. As much as I like the FF remakes and am looking forward to the DQ remakes, this is the one that I've really been waiting for. It could've happened sooner had Square not spent so much time trying to expand on the FF VII universe and making crappy games like The Bouncer.
Hah! The Bouncer, I forgot about that game. If they were going to make something other than RPGs, they should've made more Rad Racer or 3D World Runner games.
I'd have taken Chocobo Kart or something over trash like The Bouncer any day.

Okay, so this is the official thread. I'm REALLY excited about this, but I hope they don't rush it and make it the same thing as the Playstation remake.
Trust me, it won't be like the PSX version. No slooooooooooooooooooooooooow loading, no choppy-sounding music and sounds, it'll be a fairly good remake.
Which is all it is... a remake. Not a new game. Square sure does love whoring out remakes.

That's good news. Hopefully they get some good stuff like voice acting and cutscenes.
I don't feel comfortable with the title of this thread because of the quotes not working. Is there any way to change that? Just a suggestion.

Well I guess everyone knows what it means.
None of my friends know about this game and they don't really care for it, so hopefully when I start my vocational school in August, there will be students in my class who know about it (I saw a bunch of game fans when I visited one time)
