The pictures look good. Hope the game is as fun as I remember it.
in addition, supposedly every hit/wound/attack you take shows up on your body...

this game does look amazing!!! I remember playing Splatterhouse II on my Sega Genesis sometime in the late 90's. It's definitely going to be a game to watch out for.
This game is gonna be awesome. When I was a kid I used to make a beeline for the TG16 when I'd go to Toys R Us because this was the game they had set up in it. I have the game on the Virtual Console too. I wish they'd get the Genesis ones available on there too.
Awesome indeed especally if BottleRocket is developing it.

they threw out the idea of a wii version?? aaaaarrrrrggghhh!!! sigh... it would've been fun swinging the wiimote like swinging a machete! =P
Some companies still think you can't release a game on a Nintendo console unless it is geared towards kids. I don't know if that's the case here though, I think they probably just don't want to do all the work of porting it over to Wii because they'd have to downgrade the graphics a bit and add some good motion controls not just tack them on. Some companies just don't want to put for the effort.

Very surprised when I first heard of the remake. Who knows, maybe by then I'll be able to afford a PS3 or even try the whole Xbox thing for any games that have my fancy

I'm a big fan of the series so I'll be all over this. From what I've read in game magazines about it they seem to be taking the best elements from all 3 games and adding new play elements also.
