Only good games that came from EA were Archon, Road Rash, Zany Golf, and Crue Ball... that's all, really.

It's not that, really, but the constant barrages of yearly sports games, especially Madden. That's why people consider them lame. There're better sports games out there... Tecmo Cup Soccer Game, for example.

It isn't like that around here, the people where I live are crazy for EA and other sports games. Thats all anyone plays around here, except me.
007 Nightfire, anyone? That game is incredible for multiplayer!
Most EA games do suck, but they also have a lot of really good games such as: Army of Two, Black & White (highest rated strategy game of all time), Black & White 2, the Burnout racing series, Crysis, Diablo, LOTR: 3rd Age, Battle for middle earth, medal of honor series, oddworld: strangers wrath, the sims series, time splitters, warcraft, and probably a lot more. Some of these are even personal favorites.
It's the later games in the series they whore out that people hate.

the only thing i hate about ea is how they try and buyout lots of smaller as well as some well known game companies and how they supposedly treat their employees to work long ass ours on end...
Just like all bigger companies they are in the spot light more often and more widely used so its easy to point out there faults. Besides, EA has a lot of great games and pioneered the sports gaming industry for several consoles... show some damn respect! ;)
