This game is a masterpiece. Everything about it is superb. It has an awesome story with various paths and endings. The gameplay is the best i've ever played in an rpg, extremely innovative with the use of the phases of the kagatsuchi determining yours and your enemies power from fight to fight as well as what you might find in treasure chests. You have the option of choosing the Hard difficulty setting which makes for the most challenging and satisfying rpg of any era. Even if you are completely leveled up you can be slaughtered at any moment so saving becomes very common. I loved the music, the graphics and the over all design of the game. Taking the hardest path through this game is so much fun and the only true challenge ive ever had in an rpg game other than other Shin Megami Tensei games.
Dante's cameo makes for incredible story twists and fun as an enemy and companion.

you should try their persona games...especially Persona 3(or the newer FES version), i'd say its there best...and persona 4 is supposed to release in december, already out in japan though

Persona is an awesome series, i wish more rpgs were unique like this. I also liked the digital devil game, maybe i should try Shin Megami Tensei:Nocturne since i haven't played it yet, sounds really good.
