I FINALLY got the Super Suit in Super Mario RPG from the monster in Monstro Town by jumping 100 consecutive times on an enemy with Mario's Super Jump! I guess this won't seem like that big of a deal to anyone here who might have done this along time ago...but I have NEVER been able to do it until now, and I've owned the game for 12 years (got it when it first came out)! Every single time I've ever tried it, I could only manage around 40 - 50 jumps at the most. With Super Mario RPG coming to the Virtual Console recently, it gave me the urge to pull my cart out and give the 100 jump thing another try...which was the ONLY thing in the entire game I had never been able to do. Finally, after attempting it at least 200 times over the last couple days...I've finally done it! I even took some pics of this historic occasion:

It's armor that any character can equip. It has nearly the same defense as the Lazy Shell (just a TAD bit less), but it doesn't cut your attack power in half like the lazy shell does. It also protects you from ALL effects on status such as poison, sleep, transform, fear, etc. It's by far the best armor in the game.
Oh, that sounds cool, but like it'd make me go crazy attempting it without a turbo controller. Glad I'm satisfied with just beating the game. :lol:

Actually, it's impossible to get with a turbo controller. When you are jumping on an enemy, you have to hit the Y button at just the right moment in order to perform a second jump. A turbo controller would screw you up in a second.

I consider myself a pretty good gamer and for some insane reason which cant possibly be by chance i always get 15 jumps.....how is it that that happens? i beg of you the correct process to achieve this. i as well have done everything else. but 15? embarrassing. help me

It's just the quality of the picture. His hat is actually red like it's supposed to be. When you take a picture of a TV screen, it always seems to make it look weird.

15 is around where the pace of the jumps change. You have to also change the pace of hitting the Y button to match it. Basically, you want to be hitting the Y button at the EXACT moment the stars are flying out of the enemy when Mario jumps on them. When you first start, Mario's jumps are shorter, so you have to tap the Y button faster, and than it slows down as you go.

oh and also i have done 100+ before. but i played through emulator. i counted but i dont think it was 100 consecutive. it was like 100 total.
