Thunderforce III on Genesis. Was the bomb back in the day wasn't too insane or plagued with slowdown- but just right with power ups and cool bosses. They even made a Snes port and a arcade version.

    You're talking about SHMUPS! In that case, Dragon Spirit, Aero Fighters, and Gradius are extremely cool.

        I like The Guardian Legend (1/2 space shooter-1/2 RPG) and R-Type III.

            I heard that was a lot better than Super Rtype, which was slow city also!

                Pheonix and Phantom for the ti-83 calculator, they helped me get through many long math classes,lol
