a mere 30 bucks for it too. Granted, i do already have a SNES model 1, but it's always good to have a backup in case the inevitable day comes that one conks out. and it's tougher to find than the Model 1.

I have one of these. It's not compatible with RF cables. or is it the A/V cables? Doesn't matter. This model rules

I would say thats a pretty awesome find. I have seen them got for 60 bucks, when a used game store has one in stock. Like you I would like to have an extra Super NES on hand and would like to get the model 2 version.

I would also like to get the Nintendo 2, the redesigned NES but I those are very pricey. When the used game store has them that I go to, they go for 100 bucks.

All AV cables made for SNES model 1, N64, and Game Cube will work with SNES model 2.

Through a converter box, you can use an RF switch on the model 2. It's the same one the N64 and Game Cube used.
