Hey guys. I'm a regular collector of old animated shows I loved when I was a kid. Now, lookie what I found here:

It seems legit, yet I still have trouble believing it.

Thoughts? Comments? Emotions?

If you have a region free dvd player you can get it,it is region 2 after all. Which of course means the US players won't play it.

I have region free players and I already pre-ordered mine.

I agree it's great to finally see this happening (looooong overdue), though I'm going to hold out a BIT longer for a Region 1 release. Supposedly Marvel is currently trying to wrangle the rights back from Disney (for X-Men and the 90's Spider-Man series), so it's looking like more of a possibility now. Failing that, I gots me mah Region-free player, and already have some Region 2 stuff in my collection (Visionaries and Inhumanoids, specifically), so this wouldn't be the first time for me.

Yeah, I don't know what the hell Marvel was thinking when it sold so much to Disney, but then, Marvel did go through a lot of haoaring itself out to different companies. Which, we know, ultimately failed because the company had to file for Chapter 11. The bankrupty was largely due to Marvel's high investment, but poor sales in collector's cards. Marvel's back on it's feet now, but now it can't bring the shows to the fans and Disney is noted for not giving a damn about fans of other as well as it's own--They are not continuing to release Gargoyles after releasing 1 1/2 seasons on DVD--properties.

Saban sold there stuff to Disney and X-men was made by Saban, so were a lot of the other Fox Kids shows.
