I remember back in 1997, I watched a cartoon called The Fantastic Voyages of Sinbad the Sailor which ran on Cartoon Network on weekday afternoons. It was in the wake of my exposure to Disney's Hercules, which piqued my interest in myth and legend and FVoStS furthered it: otherworldly lands, bizarre monsters, and the like; the only two pet peeves I had with it were the insert songs and the characters' inability to use contractions. I'd heard next to nothing about the show after 1998, when I last saw it (and online info on it was virtually nonexistent).
