Did anyone else ever see that cartoon movie based on Harry Nilsson's album, "The Point?" from what i've read on the internet, it was made in the 70's, and came out on vhs in the 80's.

i remember my mom would take me to the library all the time to check out that vhs when i was about 4 or 5 years old. i recently got a dvd edition of the movie; its been 17 years. man, the nostalgia hits you like a brick :D

anyways, it was such a cool little movie, and all the music from the original album is in it. and the kid that played bobby brady did the voice for oblio. this movie needs a place on this site for sure!

there is a thread on this already... started by me.. thats how I remember it... Yes it was a brilliant movie narriated by Ringo Starr that taught about tolerance of diversity and who could forget Oblio with is big round head and his blue dog arrow

It shoudl be of some note that Ringo Starr wasn't always the narrator of this film over the years. When it first aired on ABC-TV in the 70's, the narration was done by Dustan Hoffman, and when the film aired on The Disney Channel in the 80's, it was by Alan Thicke. Not that it all matters in the end, just that a few tend to prefer Hoffman's voice over Ringo's anyday.
