As a lot of people know, like bastion in the films, the dad keeps changing. case in point

Movie 1: Gerald McRaney and he has the shortest screentime of the 3

Movie 2: John Wesley Shipp(A.K.A: The Flash) who has the longhest screen time of the three

Movie 3: Kevin McNulty let us never think of this one

so the question for you is which "dad" did you like?

Personally #2 was my fave

the Bastian from the first movie and the dad from the second movie are my faves. The second dad mainly because he got involved in the story the way that Bastian did in the first film.

I've always been a fan of The Never Ending Story. I saw it at the cinema when I was a kid. I always hated the sequels. So I will have to say Gerald McRaney from the first even though he wasn't in it very much.

I remember watching a few minutes of the second movie and was not interested in it. Once I turned on the T.V and saw that 'Born to be wild' part'...ugh. I'll pass.
        I liked Gerald McRaney.

the first one. I thought 2 was okay as well, as for three....It doesn't exsist. Just like Ninja Turtles 3. never mind that movie poster on my wall, it was just a poster, the film was never made.

I think that the first movie was the all time best, no matter how long the dad played a part in it. The second movie could have been better though. I do agree with most of you that the dad from the second movie was better only because he was more involved. Yet, had they did that in the first movie, it would have taken away from the story being centered around Bastian in the first place. I think the first dad's place was correct in the first movie. I don't know. I'm torn.
