Back in the early 90's, in our middle school library, we watched a longggg series about a futuristic apocalyptic time when gangs were destroying all the world's books. A resistance group was going around searching for hidden libraries while trying to avoid the uneducated gangs. The whole series had sort of a Mad Max/Star Trek type of feel on a tiny budget. Does anyone else remember this?

We watched Bill Nye around the same time in Science class but I can't remember the name of the library series to save my life.

We watched Reading Rainbow a lot till the 4th grade, but that was in the 80s. We would go to the library and watch them on VHS recordings they did off TV. I also remember us watching Electric Company a few times too. There was this other show that we wated. It had this guy dressed in a full body suit that had all the internal organs of the human body. I think we discussed it here once before.

After the 3rd grade all we ever watched were movies related to a book we were reading and we didn't even do that very much. We were always told there wasn't enough time to do stuff like that. This was before state mandated testing. I can only imagine how tight the school schedule must be today.

Sorry never saw the one you're thinking of.
