Hi guys! I'm new here, so tell me if I break any rules!
I'm trying to find/remember an animated short from my childhood (early 80's). I'm about 80% sure it aired on Pinwheel, but it could have been some other Nickelodeon show.
All I remember is that it was really dark, for a kid's cartoon, and it featured a man being chased, extensively. At some point he almost falls off a cliff and is hanging on rather graphically by his fingernails. I'm pretty sure it was a one-off -- I don't remember the character being in any other story.
I credit this short with my lifelong phobia of having my fingernails ripped out (to this day I can't rock climb outside, gotta go to a gym) so I'd love to find it to prove to my friends I'm not making this up. Does anyone else remember this?
