Who else saw this movie in theaters in it's 88 re-release? I did when i was 6 about 3 times, i had a readalong book with cassette, those happy meal toys, storybook and stuffed Bambi

I did. I was almost 9 at the time, and saw "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" about the same time. Roger Rabbit was better.

I did. It was the very first time I actually saw a movie at the theater, in fact. Sadly, the theater we saw it at since closed down only a year or two after that. I only saw one other film there, the 1989 re-issue of the original Rescuers.
