Here's an older intro from 1966 for Phyllis Diller in "The Pruitts of Southampton", the music was written by the same guys that came up with "The Addams Family" theme:

I always thought that "MacGyver" had a great theme. I didn't bother to watch any episodes of the show, though. I just enjoyed the theme and then switched to another channel. I guess I've enjoyed action movies more than action TV shows throughout my life.
