I recently remembered an action figure that used to go everywhere with me when I was little. She was wearing a black kind of all-in-one superhero type costume (part of the doll, not fabric) and had bright pink waist-length hair.

I was nuts for She-Ra/Thundercats but this character doesn't seem to be from either of those series (from what I can find - there is only so far I can delve into the internet world of 80s female cartoon characters on my work PC). I'm sure she was from a cartoon rather than just being a random doll. Can anyone help? It's driving me mad!

Maybe one of the Misfits from Jem and the Holograms?

I found a set of dolls that sound like
your description, but there isn't any
evidence that there was a cartoon series
        Golden Girl and the
        Guardians of the Gemstone

        Dragon Queen
        & her horse Shadow

Thanks all for the replies. Straydog, you cracked it! She was the Dragon Queen from Golden Girl and the Guardians of the Gemstone. Thank you so much for putting me out of my misery! Wonder if my mum still has it in the attic? Thanks again. :D :D :D

Wow...she looks like Jem...just in emo-PMS mode. =P lol I've never seen these before, though and don't know of the series it's from.
