We have all had this happen.
You see some kick-awesome toy you wanted so bad but you where never allowed to have.
Either Mom thought it was to gross, dangerous or expensive.

For me it was "The Gross Out Gang" figures, "I Vant To Bite Your Finger" Board game, and a complete Voltron set.

If you can do like I did and put links to the toys.
IF YOU HAVE NOTHING RELEVANT TO ADD, DON'T POST A REPLY

I don't have any links though, sorry.

But I wanted to have the big ol' barbie house she had. It was like a Penthouse with an elevator

Anything that made a mess was usually a no. We were pretty broke back in the day so I never bothered asking for much.

              video game light guns

'coz mom feared I may not be able to tell them from real fire arms!
What she didn't realise was that I COULD tell video game light guns from real fire arms!
She could have easily surveyed me!

Wasn't exactly "forbidden" but I remember getting the Tiger Electronics game of Sonic 3 for my birthday. Later on, I wanted to Sega Genesis version, but I wasn't allowed to get it or even rent it because my parents firmly believed it was the same exact thing. I didn't get the Genesis game until 1996/1997 when the Genesis was about dead.
