You can't help but admire his sarcastic humor and his use of the word "yes".

I was never a Sanford and Son person, but Nelson's yeses have been leaving me laughing after watching a Youtube video or two of it. :D

It's always been my opinion that you can never be too nice but it's not good to let people walk all over you either.

Frank Nelson was a regular on the Jack Benny Show and even as a little kid I knew when someone was at the top of their game when I saw it.

As you guys already know Frank Nelson's career would've hit a new high in the 1990's had he not died in 1986. Frank was making fans with a new generation of TV viewers and his catchphrase has already out-lived him:

Two classic icons right there. I liked Jack Benny and Mel Blanc together too.

Sometimes I'll say "Yes" that way when someone asks me something. I didn't know it came from there, although I probably should have, since the Golden Age Of Warner Brothers (which is where I thought it originated from) coincided with Jack Benny's biggest success, and they would collaborate in several ways.

There were a lot of friendships among some very talented people across venues during Warner Bros. Golden Age and it was a real joy to see jokes and catchphrases appear from one medium to another.

Funny moments from Jack Benny's radio show would get a great response when Bugs Bunny pulled a version of the same routine in an animated movie short.
