Does anyone remember the show Land of the Lost, where they go on a river ride and end up in this place with dinosaurs and lizard like men. I never liked the show but strangely watched it all the time.

I remember they had this female caveperson with them in later episodes (unless I'm mistaken)
Are we talking about the original Land of the Lost or the remake?

i remember watching that show on Sci Fi channel , it was a pretty good show for the time

i watched it every saturday; the cave girl was christa or something like that...and there was a little girl with a pet dinosaur named sarah i think.
nowhere near as good as the old show "Dinosaurs" which was on TGIF for a while.

Sounds like you may be thinking of the old cartoon Valley of the Dinosaurs. A show very similar to Land of the Lost.
But I dunno, maybe the girl from LOTL did get a pet dino at some point.

It was "Krista", and she had triceratops friend named Princess, and Annie Porter had a pet iguanodon named Tasha.

I remember one ep, Keven was dreaming about Krista, and he kept moaning her name (he WAS a horny teen, like we all were once), dreaming that he was kissing her and that she kept saying his name...then he woke up to find her shaking him awake while calling his name to wake him up. He was all :shock: :oops: while Krista kept looking at him like something was wrong with him. "Kevin Porter...oh-kay?" roflmao

LOTL ruled.. I guess I never saw the remake but the original was kick ass..The Sleestacks where downright creepy. What was that little hairy dudes name that hung out with them?

I know the Paku that hung out with the Porters was named Stink...I don't know about the original. Here's the remake's theme song. It's got a lot of roaring and dino noises so here's the lyrics if you can't make it all out.

I remember when they syndicated it on Nick at one point in like the mid 90s. And I turned it off every time. God I hated that show.

I couldn't stand the claymation dinos or the sleestacks, which looked JUST like what they were: dudes in green tights with stupid masks. I was always happy to see the ending to this show, cuz it meant My Little Pony and Friends was coming on in 2 minutes!

I used to watch reruns of it on Saturday morning back in the late 80s. This was the show that really got me into dinosaurs. I believe it came on CBS right before Galaxy High. Man there were some great kids shows back in the day.
