Does anyone have this tape?

If you do maybe you can answere two questions

One, there's a promo where a boy and his mom are sitting in a doctors office and the doctor suggests that he takes MTV and he replies "Damn you!" Now the boy looks alot like ALex Winter (Bill in Bill and Ted)? DOes anyone know if it's him?

Second there's a wierd short movie where siamese twins watch a man savea paper world...than they paint him yellow...okay...what's that all about?

i have four copies of it, i wanted to make sure i never lose it:)

the kid is not alex winter and the second movie is 'slow bob' it is an awesome short with music done by the residents and i always wanted mtv to make more of it. bastards:)

The only reasson I would dissagree with you is because Alex had the Idiot Box on MTV at the time that promo was made...but hey, your the guy with 4 copies lol

That ad is hysterical though I also like Joe's Apt. that was hilarous. The guy bares some resembalence to Jerry O'Conell.

Also, can you shed any light on what the meaning of Slow Bob is. I keep watching it, but all I come up with is that he's a reality hopping super-hero. But, than what's with the girls and the paint?

I'm still trying to track down the alternate version of the "POP IT OPEN!" MTV Promo....

The they have on the video is one of two (or more) variations MTV aired.

The one on the video is shorter than the one I remember. The video version goes from the line "your Dog, and MTVVVVVVVVV!" right into the "Pop It Open!" part.

The one I remember in my head goes from "Your Dog, and MTVVVVVV!" to
"Hey You're the King of YOur World
Videos are your Crown
So Reach for MTV, and Gargle It DoooooWWWWWWWNNN!"

Then into "Pop it Open".

Also, the announcer at the end goes "MTV...we're not known for our good taste" on the one included in the MTV Video.

The one I remember ends with a different announcer (I think) stating "MTV....We never said you could DRINK it..."
