have you ever moved out of state? and to where did you move. not me, though. i've always lived in california all my life but plan to move. i plan to move to either Virginia, and attend Virginia tech, or West Virginia and go to WVU.

No, but I've always wanted to move to somewhere exotic like Hawaii.
I just moved back to Nevada from San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico. I grew up in California, went to school in Utah, Colorado, New york, and Texas.
You'll be fine moving to a to a new state. You won't have to worry about lapsing into another language or using "la cortesia"
Just don't point out that you are from California to often, just trust me on this one.

I haven't... Moved across state but not to another one (yet.) Kinda hard to when I decided to get certified here. But as I get older, I appreciate living here, and I've learned that it's not like the stereotypes I always heard growing up.
Moved multiple times. From Ohio to the deep south to the west and then finally to the D.C. area.

I'e moved from Brookly NY to Cleveland OH to St. Pete FL to Jacksonville FL Back to Brooklyn NY to Oahu HI to Miami FL and probably going back to Brooklyn lol.

Why do you wanna leave CA for school?
Though the Virginia's are considered southern states, they're probably not as warm since they're closer to the northern states.
Stay where it's nice and warm.
