way back in the day when Sonic Satam Stopped Airing on ABC Saturday Mornings back in 1995 the show was moved over to the USA Network later that same year. anyway throughout the time it played on USA Network certain parts of the episodes were cut out to make room for longer commercial breaks. Anyway 1 day I found an episode of Satam that I had Taped off of USA Network and it was episode 15 Sonic Conversion Back in the summer of 1997 and I Watched The Whole Thing and then I found a website with all 26 episodes which were Recorded Directly from the shows Original run on ABC Saturday Mornings and I downloaded episode 15 from the website I then Watched it and found out that USA Network cut out the parts where Snively looks down Dr. Robotnics throat, and The part where Tails is flying and is picked up by Dulcy The Dragon and she starts talking to him. in The ABC version both of these 2 parts are Present and in The USA Network Version both of these 2 parts were cut out and it skips to the part where Bunnie is being DeRoboticized, and in the ABC Version it shows the parts where Snively looks down Dr. Robotnics throat, and The part where Tails is flying and is picked up by Dulcy The Dragon and she starts talking to him before the part where Bunnie is being DeRoboticized I have Encoded clips of both the ABC Version and the USA Network and encoded them into animated Gifs and have Posted both of them so that you can see what was cut out for yourself!

Do you know of anymore from any other Tv series?

I know for a fact that in 1998 that Nickelodeon had cut out a part in an episode of Rocko's Modern Life it was the camping episode, they had cut out the part where rocko was picking berries off of a bush and then this animal jumps out of the bush and jumps on top of Rocko. instead it just shows Rocko pickinging 1 berry and then they skip to the part where Filbert sees a gorilla and he has a Banana and he follows him asking where he got it and if he can have some and then he tries to take it from the ape and then Filbert gets beat up by the Gorilla.

I used to have some AOSTH episodes on tape and they always cut out the "Sonic Says" segments.

Perhaps this could be the reason why?

EDIT: and even if it is from an actual episode i'm sure that sound clip did not go along with that part in the actual show.

some of the senes from of the Digimon episodes are cut out, in one episode, the boys are trying to get Joe to come into the pool, and the scene because they boys wree all naked, also anohter scene was cut out from another episode where Tai's mom slpas him in the face, that is why his cheek is red when he has a flashbak, in the episode My Sister's Keeper

Actually, they were in a bath. Jou was just bashful about going in since he doesn't care for public baths, which is why he was wearing a towel. Very common in Japan; bath houses.Oh yeah, I remember that. His mother slapped him because he could've killed Hikari for taking her outside to play when she was already sick to begin with, hence her collapsing and having to go to the hospital.

Hmm, other cuts...other cuts...oh yeah!! The biggest season 1 cut of them all!! Takeru's game with Pinnochimon (Puppetmon). That was editted and cut heavily.

In the original, when TK was with Puppetmon, he was chasing him all the around that playhouse of a mansion of his, shooting at him. The censors just painted over the gun that Puppetmon was holding the entire time (typical six-shooter), and at one point when he was loading the gun, for over here, they kept making out that he was scratching his leg. That was right after he'd ran him upstairs, shot at him about three/four times (there were bullet holes in the floor from where he missed at this point, but it's not shown to my knowledge; it's been years since I've seen the dub version of this ep).

I honestly can see why they would cut/edit something like that out. It isn't really all that pleasant, and an eight year old having to make such an adult choice is sad.

Also, an eight year old trying to hold up a gun, an automatic in fact, or an eight year old being given a gun to begin with wouldn't have gone over too well over either, even if it TK was going to use it in self-defense.

Puppetmon threatened to kill Yamato if Takeru didn't play, which is why he did. And it is true, he did give Takeru a real gun to use for his twisted idea of a "game" and when he did, the gun went off.

If you're wondering what happened to the gun Takeru had, after it was given to him, he ran off into the mansion, the deranged Digimon behind him. Pinnochimon scared him by sneaking up on him, and then going, "Bang!" Takeru dropped the gun (that was too heavy for him anyway), and ran off.

Puppetmon even killed two Digimon in his mansion. He asked them where Takeru was, after they answered him, he shot both of 'em.

Also from Digimon one digimon was drinking beer or something in Japan and in the dubbed version he is drinking soda, alos whne a digimon is in a tre, Wizardmon, I think he is drihking a beer, and in the dubbed version he drinking a bottle of hot sauce

Nanimon (or whatever it was called). For that one, Agumon and Palmon were getting him drunk with Sake; here, they said it was soda or something.

For the Wizarmon thing you mentioned...I should go back and watch the ep. Been a long time since I've watched any of my Adventure tapes. I think he was just pretending to be drunk to get PicoDevimon from off of his case.

Season 1 seemed to have the most cuts that I can recall, then again, season 1 is the only season where I"ve seen the dub all the way through, as well as its Japanese counterpart.

Also from the episdoe My sister's keeper form digiomon, the scene where the evil digimon blow up the building with the kids in ti was cut out after the 9/11 attacks on the twin towers you see them shoot, and then the kids fall nito the sewers.

I remember that some of the pokemon episodes were either changed or not shown on the air at all here are the ones that I konw of so far:
Tentacool and tentacruel (after the sept.11 incident)
beauty and the beach
the electric soldier porygon (the seizure episode)
the legend of dratini
a scare in the air (the name was changed to spirits in the sky)
the ice cave (brock gets sick for a second having a relapse of his previous fever that made him sick, this episode was not shown here in Canada because of the SARS epidemic)

Wow...I watched Sonic A LOT back in the day...I dont remember that "Sonic Says" at all.

That's something you learn about from Officer Friendly when he comes to school...not Saturday morning cartoons.
