Ok I Don't Have a Whole lot but here it is The movie is about a little boy around 10 and he is at home then he goes up to his attic or somthing and either reads a book or goes through a doorway into some weird place and he meets a kangaroo rabbit thing the kangaroo thing likes to fight like a boxer. later on in the story they go across a lake with Piranhas in it. thats all I remeber. I think it was made in the 80's it is not a cartoon. And I know it isn't The Neverending story either.

If anyone can give me a hint or somthing i would Really apprieciate it.

Sounds to me like "Warriors of Virtue". but that movie is from like 1994-97. So it might not be it. That movie has five kangaroos that fight a guy wearing to much Masgara and black make-up. and only this kid from our world can stop the evil bad guy. cheesy movie but I tought it was cool, wait, no i didn't.

I rented the Warriors of Virtue it wasn't it. I am think there was a little girl in the movie as well. But thanks for the help anyways.

Oh yeah the movie I was thinking about had only one Kangaroo creature.
