Anyone remember it? He gets in like handcuffs and breaks out. I rented it once and loved it.... Want to buy it again :)

Oh man, I remember it. Vaguely, though I'm sure I watched it multiple times. I've been wanting to buy it, but everytime I think of it and check eBay it's like $50 for the video.

There was a movie of my pet monster, in which it was the kid who turned into the monster. The cartoon show of My Pet Monster was different, as the kid wasn't the one who turned into the monster, it was his pet monster who turned into a bigger/badder monster when he had the handcuffs on. I've never seen the movie myself but I used to watch the cartoon. So if I'm wrong on this just tell me.

He didn't turn into a bigger badder monster in the cartoon. Rather when the kids put the handcuffs on him he shrank into a smaller stuffed animal form. This was a means of keeping him secret from others. I suppose they figured no one would suspect a stuffed toy of being a real monster in disguise.
Most descriptions of the show on the web claim that when the handcuffs come off the toy becomes a six foot monster. I don't know where they got this as in reality he was shorter than the kids he hung out with. There was a bigger monster, but he was a villain.

I saw the One Eyed, One Horn, Flying Purple Eater Movie it was pretty lame. I can't Remember but I think they played the song like 4 times. Also little richard sung that song and he was in the movie.

I remember the Purple People Eater! With purple fur and a golden horn that played saxophone music. But the only song I liked was the one they played at the opening credits with the kids jumping on a trampoline, that went, well, I don't know the words, but it had something to do with September.

Speaking of Little Richard, anyone remember Mother Goose Rock and Rhyme? Freaky!
