Does anyone remember/know the name of this Canadian cartoon from the 90s? It's not My Pet Monster, for starters.
It was about a boy (I wanna say Lloyd, but I'm not sure-- something with L) who had this huge blue beast that lived in his closet and jumped out into the real world at the most inopportune moments, ruining things for the kid. I think there was something to do with time travel as well; the monster would take the kid back through time occassionally.
I'm pretty sure it was a Canadian toon, from like YTV or the Quebec Arts Council or something like that. The animation was in that very sharp, jagged style. Kind of like Fairly Oddparents, but less polished.
Any ideas?

Hmm..the only Canadian cartoon like that I can think of it "Ned's Newt" he had a pet Newt and the he started feeding the Newt some special pet food, which turned him into a magical giant fat newt ( who still kinda reminds me of the Genie from Aladdin.) and he'd show up and occasionaly get Ned into trouble...are you sure it wasn't that?
