Does anyone still have those "Garbage Pail Kids" trading cards that was so popular back in the 80's?

I saw a pack in a store just a month ago, actually, believe it or not!

Nah! BTW, have you seen the movie?

I use to collect the cards, but I never saw the movie. I wish the cartoon would've come out.

It's OK, next time I'll make you listen. I wish that it were in the power of all children to say that to their parents and to know that indeed they would be heard as we were in those wonderful days on Waltons Mountain.Narrator The Waltons (From the Runawa

I still have the entire first series and some of the second stored away. I enjoyed them so much I just couldn't part with them.
I don't know about you, Miss Kitty, but I feel so much... yummier

Nope, I thought they were funny. My parents found them offensive and wouldn't let me them, though. I don't understand that, its harmless fun, why get offended by it?

I thought they were cool, but I mostly collected comic book cards.

I remember these cards that were similar to Mars Attacks! but they had dinosaurs eating people. They were the goriest trading cards I had ever seen.

I was in 2nd grade when they first came out, and I really didn't like them. I couldn't see why everyone bought the damn things....they seemed pointless and yes, they did kind of give me a sick feeling when I saw them. I was a wussy, I s'pose. My wife still has a few though, and they're cool for nostalgic reasons. :)

I don't have any originals but I have a bunch of the re-makes that came out a year or 2 ago. I also have an original Garbage Pail Kids pin.

Dude those cards were awesome! I really liked them, but I never knew there was a movie. Is it worth seeing or what?

^ The movie is pretty awful if I remember right.

I love GPK. I collected them like a fiend as a kid. They were huge in my school. Stickers all over the place. Drove the teachers nuts.

I was rockin the GPK cards but only cuz the gutter kids that took care of me gave them to me... it's not something I specificly wanted but I had them none the less. Had Max Axe too, rare card even then.
