I don't remember HBO showing Babysitter's Club. That aside, the only things I remember ever watching on HBO that was for kids was Fraggle Rock and Babar the Elephant in the 80s/90s. A bit later, I used to watch Little Lulu.

Quote O' Matic
Minions:"[the Minions of 'Despicable Me' (from the latest short "Mooned" and the then-upcoming fourth installment) is sitting on the rock. Kevin is fishing at the right, Stuart plays the guitar at the left, Bob plays the kazoo in the middle. Bob & Stuart perform the 1997 Universal Studios theme in the short version of the 2013 version of the Universal Pictures logo.]"
Logo:"[the camera zooms out to reveal "IllUMINATION" as theme wraps up. The frog, on the small rock next to the left of Stuart, "ribbits" to the water.]"
Bob:"Aaah. (pants a bit) Whoo. Ooh-la-la. Illumination! (pants some more)"
Male:"[the brightness of "IllUMINATION" dims] And now, for a bedtime story."
Kevin, Stuart and Bob:"(sleeply sigh) [The logo turns a page to start the movie.]"
