I was at work one day and I thought they where playing the theme from Ducktales on the overhead muzak system, it tuned out to be a song by Hall & Oats named "You Make My Dreams Come True".

Has anyone ever thought which of the songs came first and if one is based on the other?

They both have the same drum & guitar in the begining, and the "woo-oo"
in it, I just thought they might be linked.

Let me know.

YES YES YES! I was gonna say this exact same thing. I heard the song on the radio, and I noticed it sounded exactly like the DuckTales theme. Strange coincidence indeed.
