Anyone else remember the Torkelsons. It's about a family who all have like two parts to their names like Dorothy Jane. Any thoughts?

    I remember it, it ran on NBC in I think 1992, the following year they dropped two of the kids and revamped the show as Almost Home which featured a pre-Clueless Britney Murphy as Molly Morgan one of the two kids that Mrs. Torklson had been hired to be a nanny for.

    I enjoyed both shows and have wondered what happened to the Oliva Burnette the actress that played Dorthy Jane, she had great timing and had great chemistry with her various co-stars.
    Who knows what is really real? That is the true question isn't it?

      I remember when it was on the disney channel. But I remember the spinoff "Almost home", much better.

              I remember this show being on the family channel every day when i got home from school. the one episode i remember is where the main girl had a dress for the big dance, but it was a second hand dress donated by another girl in her class. and in the tense confrontation scene the donator rips a flower off the dress to reveal a large stain she left on it before throwing it out. real drama.

                    I've wondered that myself, I think it's the roles that she had been chosing, they weren't giving her much to work with I didn't like Just Married or Uptown Girls, hopefully she can return it around because Brittany can be a very good actress with the right material, I really enjoyed her performance in Sincity last year, and although I've nenver watched it alot of people have said that she was good in 8 Mile.
