Holy sh*t, someone in my history class was JUST talking about those today!! Our sub was all, "What's ur favorite cereal?" And everyone was saying thier favorites and the guy in my class was all, "Do they still make those koala yummies cereals?" I don't remember those, I'm just pointing out the irony. . . :P

However, I did find some info on them. I don't think they were a cereal, though. Here: (in case you're confused, they were also called Koala's March--they were some sort of Japanese cookie. . .)

You can find them in Asian grocery stores or sometimes regular grocery stores in the Asian foods section. Even Fred Meyer still has them. I occasionally them from Uwajimaya in the Seattle area.

Target and Fry's still has them. And didn't Fred Meyer's stores go out of business? They're aren't any more in my area.

No, they're still around. When they got bought out by Kroger, they closed a lot of competing stores. Now they're in the west and midwest. There are five of them within 8 miles of my house.
