I miss the good cartoon that came out at the same time the crappy adventures of sonic came out the good cartoon was on usa and it was more dark and had a great plot. and lets not forget the great theme song

Actually it was on ABC saturday mornings first.. and this was the best series even better then Sonic X and I don't care what others feel about that :P

well Eggman is the charecter's true name..it was just renamed for US UK and such... they even call him eggman in the US games now...but he is still Robotnik...Eggman is kinda like his supervillain name...though he used to hate it... guess he don't care anymore lol

I remember SatAM Sonic. Used to watch it sometimes as a kid, and there's a channel on in the UK for Sky which shows it sometimes.

Shit yeh dude! i grew up watching this show since i was 11, i do have the first DVD of "Super Sonic" but they need to release seasons 1 and 2 on DVD in a boxset, someone contact "Sony Wonder" or "Shout Factory!" to release this on DVD.

This is still my fave cartoon! I even had a crush on Sally Acorn, she was a total knockout and all, anyone agrees? and same with Lupe.

The creator of Sonic said that Eggman is his nickname, while Robotnik is his real name. He is also known as Eggman in Japan, just like Princess Toadstool is also known as Peach in Japan.

Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog: Pretty crappy, because of Robotnik's/Eggman's beehived face, wacky robots, and it never entertained me very much. Eventhough it became a YTMND fad, I still dislike it.

Sonic the Hedgehog (ABC): Why would Sonic have three girlfriends: Amy Rose, that robotic rabbit, and Sally? Also, some of these characters look like they are from Rocket Knight Adventure. And that purple midget is a boring character, IMO.

Sonic Underground: Never watched it, and I never will.

Sonic Anime Movie: Half as good as the Japanese Sonic X, and why would it have an owl, a president with his daughter, and Knuckles wearing a cowboy hat and a pair of shades?

4Kids-edited Sonic X: It made me feel bad, because 4Kids made many people hate it.

Original Japanese Sonic X: This is the best animated Sonic show I've ever watched, because of the music, more accurate storyline than the other shows, very good voice acting, and a better looks. It makes me feel kinda bad to hear people say "OMG, Christopher Thorndyke and his family and friends all suck!" I understand he is annoying, but would you want Sonic to drown?

funny, I thought Eggman was robotnik's grandson, said so on the game in japanese and in english unless they just like to fool everyone, he said "my great grandfather tried to get rid of sonic before" and he's filling his grandfather's shoes to rid sonic and rule the world, unless if thats not how it goes then I might be wrong But I still think that eggman is robotnik's grandson notice how eggman and robotnik have new attire

Sonic Underground had it's moments...well, just the theme song, the first song "Have you got the 411?" and "The Cosmic Dance"...which I happen to have pulled off a videocassette last night here.

It was one of my fav cartoons.
I'd always wake up really early in the weekends so i wouldn't miss it.

I never did get to see SatAM Sonic many times on TV, but I did like it. I have a few of them on VHS. I saw AoStH a lot more, being on TV before I went to school. While it was as serious as SatAM I did like it. I have some of them on VHS too.

I guess what I missed out on with SatAM I gained through the Archie comics, even though it didn't follow the same storyline.

it did have every caracter from sonic satam though i wished i read it more growing up
