Remember the trend of movies having animated opening credits? It started sometime in the mid to late 1980s and the trend was just that--it stopped sometime in the early 1990s.

Here's my question--can you namesome live-action movies with animated opening credits?????

Here's some I can think of:

Madhouse (1990)
Troop Beverly Hills (1989)
Weekend at Bernie's (1989) and its sequel (1993)
Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead (1991)

Name some more--you may be suprised at what you remember about this trend!!!

Honey I Shrunk the Kids (1989) had an animated intro and Gremlins 2 (1990) somewhat did with the Looney Tunes intro that introduced the title.

Yeah, that's right--some movies in 1950s and 1960s had animated credits.

This was a pretty big trend at point though--movies should try doing this again.

One Crazy Summer was another one I thought of.

          Keep those responses coming!!!!

          Allison :)

Freaky Friday did the animated intro thing while playing the song "I'd Like To Be You For A Day".

I've never seen Duplex before, but I'm glad they bought the trend into the millennium.

Honey I Blew Up the Kid's intro was animated as well.

Surprised no one mentioned this one yet, Who Framed Roger Rabbit. (Okay, so the movie's a mix, but it's still an animated intro for a movie with a ton of live-action.)

I Dream of Jenny (or was it Jennie?) had an animated intro. I recall thinking it was a cartoon, and being mighty annoyed to find out it wasn't one.

Wow, I'm really enjoying these answers. I've seen some of these movies, but not all of them.

                                    Keep these responses coming.

I don't how I omitted "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" My parents took me to see that in kindergarten. The squeaky shoe's demise still gives me the creeps. You know what I'm talkin' about.
