I did and i remembered watching the cool teaser to it on Total Recall's video thinking "Oh that looks cool" and watched the first film first to know the story.

I saw it about 4 times even on opening day when i was 9 and had nearly all the merchandise as i was obsessed with the movie for the year and got it for Christmas.

didn't see it in theaters but i rented that damn VHS a good 30 times when it came to video. Anyone remember the ad at the end of the credits for the VHS that was advertising the T2 leather jacket, I wanted that thing so badly, around 2004 - 2005 some friends and i rented T2 on VHS and sure enough it was a copy with that ad at the end, we called the 800 # but to our dismay it was disconnected.

I saw it in the theatre.

Does anyone remember that Entertainment Tonight got the exclusive teaser trailer, which was originally supposed to be part of the opening to T2, it showed Skynet building the Terminator....

I def remembering see it at the theater. My uncle and cousin took me (one of the only times I went t the movies with any of my family memebers) and thought it was bad ass. I can;t quite remember any trailers before it started though.

I was very hyped about the film nd bought some T2 merchandise (the TYGER handheld game and some shirts, one that had a 1/2 Arnold 1/2 cyborg shot on it that read Hasta La Vista, Baby). And when it was time for it to come out on vid I was at Blockbuster every week looking for it

Yes, and as I recall it was the only thing that came out that summer I wanted to see.

We saw it the opening weekend (4th of July weekend). I never saw T1 at the time so it was all new to me. It ended up being my all time favorite movie along with Robocop II which released just the year before. Unfortunately I have seen it so many times I don't care to watch again for some time. It's one of those moves that I know almost line by line.

While T2 was an overall better movie, nothing beats the scene in part I where the Terminator went into the police station and gunned everyone down.

(Note, this is the remastered version and some of the sound effects are different from the original)

Favorite scene from T2.Plus the chase that follows.

I saw it a discount theater in the fall of '91. I had seen Terminator in '86 on HBO and I loved it, but I was underwhelmed by the trailers for Terminator 2. I wasn't in a hurry to see it in 1991, so I put it off until November when it came to the discount theaters.

I was blown away from the very first scene. Everything about the movie--the lighting, the music, the action--was perfect. T2 became my favorite movie of all time. T2 became my Star Wars.

I saw it in the theater. I was absolutely positive that I had just seen cinema's crowning achievement.
