I was wondering if anyone here, particularly the '70s kids, remembers this:

Butterfly Ball, "Love Is All"

My brother remembers seeing this on TV when he was a kid. The song was part of a concept album by Roger Glover of Deep Purple, based on an old children's picture book. The lead vocal in the song-- the voice of the frog in the video-- is Ronnie James Dio.

Just thought I'd share the love. :D

Being reminded this short used to get seen on Nickelodeon back in the early 80's on their "Pinwheel" series.

The animation in the film was done by Halas & Batchelor in London around '74. Some people here might've heard of that studio for their work on the feature adaptation of George Orwell's "Animal Farm" in the 1950's.

I vaguely remembered it when I watched it -- but it's not something that I would've remembered otherwise. Awesome little video, with very "Yellow Submarine"-like animation. Thanks for that! :D

Oh, no! The video has been removed! I can't tell you how long I have searched for this song. I always thought it was performed by Queen.

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6894193252844776081# But of course, now that I know it was Deep Purple, not Queen, it all makes sense.
