Does anyone remember this movie? Halloween is approaching, and I need to watch this movie. It's been years since I've seen it, and I would simply love to watch The Halloween Tree again. I've looked on ebay and amazon, but they only have it on VHS; as I no longer have a VCR, this doesn't do me much good. Does anyone know where I can find a downloaded or bootleg version of this classic? Or, for that matter, even a real DVD copy?

I would suggest to keep checking the stores as much as you can, I am positive I have seen it on DVD.

Hmmmm, sounds kinda familiar but I don't think I've seen it. Good luck finding it though.

I saw it last year. It's pretty good. It was on Cartoon Network. Maybe they'll show it again. Turns out that it's based on a book by Ray Bradbury. I skimmed through it at the library.

There are a few little differences from what I saw.

In the movie, there are only four trick-or-treaters. A skeleton, a mummy, a witch and a gargoyle (or "monster" in the movie).

In the book, there are eight. Skeleton, mummy, witch, gargoyle, ghost, grim reaper, beggar and ape-man.

They cut out the ghost, grim reaper, beggar and ape-man because the parts relating to them were rather short.

Also, in the book, the kid in the witch costume is a boy named Henry. In the movie, I think it was changed to a girl (possibly named Henrietta).
Saturday Morning isn't just a part of the week. It's a state of mind.

I plan on getting it for this Halloween. I just have to remember. I only saw it once on TV. I have Charlie Brown and another Halloween special, but I still need Garfield.
