I was looking through an industry trade publication for toys from the mid-80s (article soon to follow btw :D ) and there were ads for both maple town and sylvanian families billing them as "first of their kind" I honestly only knew of maple town growing up. Which one came first? did they both have shows or was it just maple town?

i think they both had a show. i used to played with both.
