Actually, the Fox Kids Countdown was first broadcast on Sunday, July 31, 1994; although, not all affiliates had taken the show at the time. It retained the name "Fox Kids Countdown" until around Spring of 1999, when it was retitled the "Fox Family Countdown". I am in the process of putting some much needed information on the internet about the show, as I have been lucky enough to come across a huge archive of stuff. I'll have an episode guide for 1994 to 1999 with guest star info, top songs, interviews, and possibly even some full recordings to share.

I remember the UK Fox Kids introduction video so well.....
While waiting for Fox Kids to come on the air, I would watch that video over and over again... :)
