Who else liked this one? this is my fourth fave Bat flick with "Begins" being number one, "Batman (1989)" being 2, "Mask of the Phantasm" third, and "Batman Returns" Fifth.

I remembered when i was 13 back in 1995 seeing this movie and i loved it! such great fun and that Nicole Kidman was a knockout, sure as hell much better then the mess known as "Batman & Robin".

i thought this movie was cool..when i was young.. as i got older, i realized Joel Schumacer was the biggest homo eva', and should have never been allowed to do anything involving Batman. there was soooo many things wrong with the film, the main thing that i thought was lame was that scene when 2face and Riddler were holding up a jewelery store, and 2face was showing riddler how to punch a cop, he showed him how to ball up his fist, and the cop was just standing there, like a retard..horrible film

It was ok but it went back to the camp tv series which Burton wanted to avoid. It was entartaining but not dark the way Batman should've been.

Don't get me wrong but the first couple of Batman Movies that came out were crap. Sure I liked them when I was younger but as I aged I realized those movies, especially the schumacer ones, were all style and no substance. They were comics on screne not characters. Only when one goes all out on stylizing the movie such as Sin City, does this formula work. Batman Begins was made the right way by studying the underlying character and forced the audience to think about who the guy was Bruce in a mask of Batman or if it was Batman wearing a Bruce mask. The action was also done better on the scale in which they chose.

Batman Forever is not bad in a sense, but it is definitely not what it should have been.

I wasn't too keen on Two face. He was just goofy and camp instead of being a psyco like he was in the comics.

They're all good to watch when I get nostalgic, but Begins is definitely the better of them all. They really knew what they were doing. Btw, if you want to watch a funny Batman movie, check out the one from the '60's... it makes NOOOO sense whatsoever but it's hysterical... "What weighs 6 ounces? A turkey with a machine gun? Yes, it might be..." I mean WTF

the irony is that the batman films (starting with 1989's Batman) were started because they were trying to remove batman from his camp style that had become attatched to him in the 60's. the first film was an attempt to restore batman to his roots. unfortunately too many over-protective and obsessive parents complained that burton's batman movies were too dark for children (especially Batman Returns which was viewed as being darker than Batman). their complaints finally convinced WB to take the batman films in a new direction, so they canned burton (keaton left shortly after due to his loyalty to burton and dissagreement with WB's decisions). Schumacher was required to make the film more camp to make it more appropriate for children. Batman and Robin took this even further. For this movie WB was looking to capitalize on toy revenue as much as humanly possible. they actually gave the toy company partial control over the movie. ever wonder why batman, robin, and batgirl suddenly, out of the blue, have on those lame black and silver costumes for the final battle? or why there were so many vehicles in the movie (batmobile, robin's motercycle, the 3 ice vehicles that the bat-trio are riding while wearing the silver costumes, and the freezemobile)? i mean the vehicles even looked like giant toys. this is why the batmobile had no top, no windshield, and only sat one person. so that they could make a toy that looked exactly like it. everything in the movie was designed to sell a toy. Batman Forever and Batman and Robin were made more for children than batman fans. WB changed batman back to camp in an attempt to gain a larger audience and make more money, and in the end they killed the series because of it. over several decades batman has survived villians like the joker, penguin, riddler, two-face, catwoman, and countless others and came off without a scratch. but one gay guy (no offense meant to gay people) and a crowd of complaining parents and batman almost buys the farm.
