anyone remember that commercial that had a woman telling a story about a racoon that was like
"momma can I have a mushroom? No baby mushrooms are not for racoons. Can I have an apple? yes baby you can have an apple"
I need to know if it had a name

no it was a PSA at the end the woman telling the story said something like
"remember kids not all things are safe to eat so ask your parents first"

ya i totally remember that ya she was sitting in a rocking chair and red the story to her son or somthing..there was another comercial about not eating everything u see with fuzzy blue muppets n they sang a song that went like this.. don't you put in it your mouth, dont you put it in your mouth, til you ask someone you love.. haha.. i think they were suppose to be dustballs or somthing if i recall they were under the floor of a house and then at the end theres a mouse or rat that repeats what they sing

I remember both of these quite vividly.
The "Don'tcha put it in your mouth" Song gets stuck in my head much too often. And people look at me like I've got five eyes or something when I try to explain it!
By the way- Since when do beets look good to eat?

but the first commercial I mentioned what would i call that if I was looking for it?
the "dontcha put it in your mouth" blue puppet PSA can be seen right here on this website :) .
It is in the 90s section of "commercials" , under the header "Public Service Announcements (PSAs) " .
