Eh, they just don't make 'em like that anymore. Nowadays, Disney movies are all either "based on a true story", live action, or computer animated. I think all the decent Disney movies were the musicals, and that era ended with Mulan. But that's just my opinion....

I don't really know what you mean by "musicals" but I'll say mary poppins, alladin and lion king were my favorites that had a lot of song in them

Yeah, Disney movies with singing are the best! They should definately make more of those. (I've seen all the ones with singing in them, except for Oliver and Company, which I've only seen a few minutes of.)
well, if it helps at all, John Lasetter has said he wants to revive the 2D format with the company again. And they're releasing a live action/animated musical called "enchanted" with music by Alana Menken and Stepphen Schwartz some time next year.
