Just rented a tape of this show at Family Video. Kid's movies rent free and they have a lot of good old stuff.

So, who else here used to be a fan of this show and these characters back when wrestlers had gimmicks and personality and costumes that were colors other than black. :)

One of my favorite voices on this show is Junkyard Dog's. It almost identical to the voice the actor used for Shredder on the TMNT show. He was also Uncle Phil on Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

Geez....this was one of those cartoons that I regularly watched as a kid, yet I can't recall a single episode in particular. I do remember the intro & ending, especially the 'Rocky'-like piano music, & the part where live-action Hogan gets surrounded with literally over a hundred fans. Awesomeness :D

Yep, I remembered how much I liked it but couldn't really remember a darn thing other than it had live action segments.

That piano theme was soooo awesome.

            And the chanting.

Dun dun "HULK" dun dun "HULK"

Yep, Piper, Sheik, Moolah, Nikolai, even Bobby Heenan (Sp?) were bad guys in the cartoon.

Heenan bought a cemetary and then built an amusement park over it. Wrestlers + Zombies are awesome.

the difference in his appearance and voice is due to the battle he had with throat cancer. fortunately he has mostly recovered.

yea and a shame too. the guy was one of the most entertaining "mouths" in wrestling history and his voice gets damaged. its like tiger woods losing an arm or something.

the shape that tito santana and ricky steamboat are in is what saddened me. when i worked with honky tonk a few years ago. he was telling me how great and under appreciated they really were.

My dad is close friends with Koko B Ware, although I don't think he was in the show. He had some tough times as well.

kinda weird that you mention KOKO he was the one guy that trainned with Honky Tonk back in the day when you needed to know someone to get into wrestling.
