I saw this mentioned in a post and it got my memory going. I remember either my friend or I having one, but I don't remember what it looked like. If anyone could post a picture I would really appreciate it!

LOL, I remember my brother had one of these. On the side of the Yak Back it had a warp button that made your vioce sound wierd.

i actually got excited to get one for x-mas. I got in a lot of trouble at school becuase of it but you could only record about 20 seconds worth of stuff on it.
I remember this thing. I went through like three because mine kept breaking on me. I used to love it though, until I got an actual recorder, then it kind of lost it's charm.

i loved that! i had a purple one. i wish they still made those.
I had a red one.

i remember around that time i tried to keep a notebook like Harriet. I loved that.
I had the exact one in that picture. come to think of it I think it might be around here somwhere...
I still have mine, but it doesn't work anymore. I should've taken the battery out, cos it's probably corroded the inner workings by now.

Lol, yeah, I did that at K-Mart. Kids were always recording swear words and then locking them.

No, never did have a Yak Bak.

I had the YakBakwards (or whatever the reversal one was called), made in 1996. A friend of mine that didn't want it gave it to me in 1999.

we recorded the bathroom scene from dumb and dumber and played it class.
another thing we did was we recored us saying F**k you Mr Hill. (our teacher) then we took the drawer out of his desk, put the yak back in the slot with the buttons faceing towards us, took a pencil and taped it to the back of the drawer so it lined up with the play button then put the drawer back in the desk. evrytime the teacher shut his drawer. it would say "f**k you mr hill" and he would go completely ballistic. it was SO funny. :D :lol:
Did they came out in the early or mid 90s?
