The dad from 'honey i shrunk the kids' was the lead character. He had this plant(in his store i think). The plant is huge, could talk, and had grown kinda of attach to the guy. The plant also gets jealous of the mans girlfriend and tries to eat the girlfriend.

that is all i mostly remember, so if anybody knows the name?
