Yeah SNICK was great. There were great shows like Kenan & Kel the original All That. Ahh the memories.
Snick was the best!!!
I actually liked the original line up for SNICK. You know, when it first started: Clarissa; Roundhouse; Ren & Stimpy; Are You Afraid of the Dark.
I didn't mind it when The Secret World of Alex Mack aired either, since I really liked it. I was really sad when Roundhouse got taken off, and they replaced that with All That.

I remember the intro (which can be seen on YouTube) when the kids are sitting on the big orange couch, watching the TV.
i heard they gave away that couch filled with more than $1,000.
and i remember Alex Mack, they had a Alex Mack (or Shelby Woo, not sure) board game and I had it, i don't know what happened to it.

i used to watch snick religiously when it first came on. i remember the first ever snick, and watching the first episode of are you afraid of the dark and being fairly scared for a show on nickelodeon
I'd watch it sometimes (it was around the time they played Rugrats on the block). I stopped watching Snick when they put those stupid "On Air Dares".
Are You Afraid of the Dark scared the crap outta me sometimes when I was little...but I loved it!
Rainbow Brite are you ok???...j/k but Snick was it man...you were always home weekends watching All That or Kenan and Kel 8)

SNICK was a clear demostration of Nickelodeon's awesomeness at the time.

Me too! The ones that really gave me the jibbalees were the ones about the scare crow and the aliens with no faces. *sigh* th 90's. :-)

Yeah, "Are You Afraid Of The Dark" was very scary to me as a kid. Me and my friends would watch it, and then be up all night trying to make up scary stories. Awesome show on SNICK.
I liked everything but Roundhouse. I was really into trains when I was a kid, and it pissed me off that a show about a "roundhouse" didnt have a thing to do with trains.

I'm going to take Bret the Hitman Hart saying Snick was the best there is, the best there was and the best that there will ever be". Every Saturday night from 94-98 I was watching Snick. I wouldn't miss it I loved Snick. Too me the down fall of Nick started with Snick changing it's line in 96. Snick took Nick to another level a level that Nick has not reach since then.
It had drama, comedy, horror, and fun in a two hour block that made a kids Saturday night.

I wasn't Allowed to watch Roundhouse or The Ren & Stimpy Show I have Ren and Stimpy on DVD now but im afraid i'll never get to see Roundhouse besides the 2 episodes i've seen. :cry:
