      It's in Monterey County in California. You'd have to look it up in the phone book. I remember Tommy Tutone and that song. According to legend, it was discovered in a public restroom and Jenny was a real person.

      These days you have to use the 555 prefix in music, movies, and television.

          I just called it, and got one of my professors from the college I go to. Whoops. ^^;

              867 is the prefix for a few different areas in the US.

              This is my bowling song. Everytime Iused to go to the Bowling Alley as a teenager I woul dput three to five dollars iin the jukebox and set all the songs to this song. People dreaded the arrival of my friends and myself.

                Here in my city (Indianapolis), there was a funny story at the time that the song was really popular. Seemed that number was the number to a delivery pizza place.

                They said they did really good business while that song was on the charts...

                      Hehehe. All great stories. I would imagine they don't hand that phone number out anymore. Though I am tempted to call in my own area...

                      But I should so do that with my ex's number and hope someone writes a song about it. 8)

                              Growing up in Evansville, IN, my phone number started qith an 867. I don't know of anyone that didn't call it. It was some elderly woman that had the number, poor woman. She always answered the phone like her lost grandchildren were paying her attention.

                                Speaking of songs involving phone numbers, i heard that there was some couple who tried to sue ac/dc over the song "dirty deeds done dirt cheap" due to the "call me anytime/ dial 36-24-36/ i lead a life of crime" lyric, as that was their phone number. Dont know how that happened, since 362436 is only six digits, and most phone numbers are 7 digits without the area code.

                                  I believe that Australia only has 6 digits in their phone number. Which makes sense since AC/DC is Australian. And 36-24-36 are 'fantasy' woman's measurements for men and/or women. *shrugs*
